The Final Hurrah of Summer

Hey, guys! Happy Sunday! Yesterday was quite the epic food day. I enjoyed myself so much, but wow, I am ready to get back on track

My morning started with two rice cakes with peanut butter, ground pumpkin seed and banana slices on top.

After breakfast, we are headed to CrossFit for a workout.

The workout was a good one. My lungs and legs were on fire! My partner and I finished in about 24 minutes.

After CrossFit, we ran some errands. The first stop is target.

We bought Quinn a bike helmet and loaded up on La Croix. It was on sale 3 for $10!

We also swung by Dick’s to buy mace. Now I can walk Murphy again!

As we were leaving Dick’s, Quinn told us that he was hungry and wanted to go to a restaurant to eat pizza. He never wants to eat and never tells us he’s hungry, so Mal and I were ALL about going out to lunch with him. We ended up at Not Your Average Joe’s

After lunch, we headed home. Mal and I took turns showering and then he put Quinn down for his nap while I took off to a birthday/engagement party at Kerrie’s house. While there, I enjoyed a glass of wine and a few passed appetizers.

After a couple of hours, I needed to boogie for the next adventure of the day. Mal and I met some friends in Boston at the Trilliam Beer Garden.

It was a really cool spot and the beer was quite delicious! I had 2 coffee porters while there.

After spending some time at the beer garden, the nine of us headed to the North End for dinner.

We shared a charcuterie board among the table, and I ordered the sausage and rape appetizer as my entrée. Everything was really good!

After dinner, we finished off the night at Modern Pastry, and I shared a chocolate chip cannoli with a friend.

What a day of eating! It was, for sure, a good time, but I am so ready for a summer detox. Anyone else?
